A local community board for parents to share and request diapers

Born from a single Facebook post offering extra diapers our baby had outgrown, which got an overwhelming response. That demand made it obvious a standing forum would help more than a one-off post: a map-based board where nearby parents post what they have to give or what they need, without every exchange depending on someone remembering to check a group.

  • Map-based browsing of nearby give and need posts
  • Built from an observed real-world need rather than a hypothetical one
  • A trust score — verified identity, address, reviews — so exchanges between strangers feel safe
  • Location handling scoped to general area rather than precise addresses, deliberately
